HELLYEAH Album release party at Affliction Studios

One of our favorite bands HELLYEAH, featuring Pantera drummer and idol, Vinnie Paul, put out their 5th studio album last week called “UNDEN!ABLE,” and the only thing that kept popping in my head leading up to the release was to throw them a Taco Metal Party at our Affliction Studios!  So we did!

Over 200 VIP guests came by our new spot at Affliction HQ in Seal Beach in order to celebrate with all the members of HELLYEAH and enjoy performances from Aeges (about to release their debut album in July through Century Media Records) and Exmortus (Prosthetic Records).  By the way both bands completely nailed their sets and left all of us stunned on how great they were!  If you don’t know who these guys are, you should!

There was a taco truck outside the studios, we made three huge containers of our famous jalapeno infused Riazul tequila margaritas, and 40 cases of Modelo Especial were provided by our good friends over at Modelo (Thanks Mike!), as we are proudly sponsored by our favorite beer in the world!

Everyone in attendance was given the employee discount and it was really cool seeing so many friends and industry folks picking up loads of new killer Affliction gear!

It was really cool to have some celebs enjoying themselves as well.  Actor from AMC’s new hit series W. Earl Brown was rocking out, as well as All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte, who’s in town from New England area to record their new album.  As well as members from Kyng, Sangre, Valora, Butcher Babies, and Westfield Massacre.

We even did some Metal trivia with three teams in elimination rounds and ended up giving out a Jagermeister tap machine to our friend Stephanie Cabral, who clearly knows her music!  Congrats Steph, you totally earned it!

All in all we all had a fantastic night, full of positive vibes, great refreshments, and sick tunes!  We’ll see you at the next event we throw, and thank you to those that spent the evening with us!

Peace in a celebrated cloud of music…
