AC/DC Drummer Phil Rudd Arrested- Charges Dropped

Talk about Dirty Deeds done dirt cheap… AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd had his New Zealand home raided by police this week on charges of “murder-for-hire”.  Ironically enough, the band’s song “Dirty Deeds”, released September 20, 1976, was about hiring a hit man to “whack” one’s significant other.  To add some more irony to that- Phil was the standing drummer at the time the band wrote the song.

Yesterday, New Zealand police dropped all charges after the “intended hitman” claimed the charges were simply “hot air”.

Later, Rudd’s lawyer confirmed that the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, however, Rudd still faces charges of possessing drugs and threatening to kill- according to Independent.co.
