Affliction’s Top 5 Guitar Solos of All Time

Affliction’s Top 5 Guitar Solos of All Time

Whether you’re rocking out in the office, or jammin’ in the car in rush hour traffic, hearing a face melting guitar solo is sure to brighten your day and make you bust out the air guitar for a quick jam sesh’.  We take #MusicMonday pretty seriously here at Affliction, so we asked our man Jose Mangin about his favorite guitar solos and came up with Affliction’s top 5 guitar solos of all time~
5.    Guns N’ Roses “November Rain”

Who can forget one of the best guitarists of all time?  Slash definitely makes this list for top guitar solos- just listen to “November Rain” and try to name a better power ballad solo.

4.    Led Zeppelin “Stairway To Heaven”

Okay, so not to be cliche or anything, but you can’t have a list of epic guitar solos without “Stairway to Heaven”.  Yes, the song may be played over and over on the radio, but you have to admit that when you hear it, you can’t help but rock the air guitar~

3.    Jimi Hendrix “Voodoo Child (Live)”

By far, one of the most creative and impromptu guitarists to grace us with their musical talent is Jimi Hendrix.  Seriously, the guy gets on stage and lights his guitar on fire during a solo- what could be more rock n’ roll than that?

2.    Ozzy Osbourne “Suicide Solution (Live)”

You can’t have a list of epic guitar solos without having Randy Rhoads on the list.  Rhoads is the definition of ‘rock star’ with his iconic polka dot flying-V guitar and bone shaking solos.  “Suicide Solution” is definitely one of the favorites here at the Affliction office for #MusicMondays.

1.    Van Halen “Eruption”

Van Halen comes in at the top of our list with the sick guitar solo for “Eruption”.  Sifting through all of the awesome guitar solos from these guys was not easy, but in the end we thought that this song was list worthy above all others.
