VID: GSP FLOPS AT WSOP

He may be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world of Mixed Martial Arts, but GSP is still a novice in the poker world. His emotions, it seems, got the best of him at the recent World Series of Poker.

Said GSP: “The sport of mixed martial arts, it’s similar to poker, in the way that you need to leave your ego and your emotion outside of the Octagon, or outside of the table. I’m good to do it in my sport, but in poker, I had a lot of problems doing it, which is why I lose some very important hands. I had a great time and I want to come back and do it again.”

It was all in good fun. A wildcard entry playing for his anti-bullying charity going in, the Rush was bounced on day one. Chock it up to lack of experience. You’ll get ’em next year, champ. For the full video, click here.
