From the interview on BigMusicGeek.com: “As a life-long practitioner of the Heavy Metal and Thrash Metal genres, I’ll be the first to openly admit my unwavering admiration of prototypical Thrash Metal veterans Megadeth.  Although I’m not entirely certain what initially piqued my interest (it was undoubtedly spurred by pilfered copies of “Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?” and “So Far, So Good…So What!”, but by the time I was a Junior in high school, the multi-Platinum menagerie that is the mighty “Countdown To Extinction” was in heavy personal rotation and was thus permanently etched into my beer and nicotine-soaked brain.  Now, twenty inexplicably long years later, I continue to find myself thoroughly intrigued with the release of “Unsung: Words And Images”, the latest–and undoubtedly greatest– literary opus from bassist David Ellefson (F5Killing Machine and former Judas Priest/Iced Earth frontman Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, among so many others)…”
